MY STORY
I went on to complete a Bachelor of Health Science in Nutritional Medicine and have now spent more than 10 years helping women improve their health and lose weight.
Over those years, I’ve seen the same challenges again and again.
Weight loss has become incredibly confusing. Eat less. Cut carbs. Count calories. Avoid certain foods. Follow another meal plan.
For many women, years of dieting and restriction haven't just left them confused about how to eat — they've created an unhealthy relationship with food and a disconnect from their own bodies. They second-guess their choices, stop trusting their hunger and fullness cues and feel guilt around foods they've been taught are “bad”.
I realised women needed to learn how to build balanced meals, understand portions and eat in a way that keeps them full and satisfied while supporting weight loss.
But they also needed to rebuild trust in themselves, change the thoughts and behaviours keeping them stuck and build habits that work in real life.
That became the foundation for THE SHIFT.
